Tesco raising money for CLIC Sargent

Toni abseils Falkirk Wheel

Tesco Bank IT analyst, Toni Ferretti, was one of hundreds of Tesco staff who faced their fears this year by doing an abseil to raise money for CLIC Sargent.

Toni was inspired to make the leap from the Falkirk Wheel boat lift as his nephew received support from CLIC Sargent when he was diagnosed with leukaemia.

Toni said: “CLIC Sargent is a charity that my sister’s family benefitted from massively when my nephew Ben was diagnosed with leukaemia a few years back. Ben completed his four year course of treatment successfully and has now left school and started work. The support that CLIC Sargent gave him and his family was a huge help towards that outcome.”

Toni not only raised £270 from his abseil, he recruited a group of his colleagues to take part and between them they raised well over £1,000.  Well done Toni!
