Hollyoaks' Ashley Slanina-Davies abseils at Manchester Spinningfields

, well known for playing troubled teenager Amy Barnes, abseiled 100 feet at Manchester’s iconic Spinningfields Development to raise money for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent, Tesco Charity of the Year 2010.
Ashley's nerve was tested as she took part in the terrifying abseil on Sunday 12th September.
The exhilarating abseil raised thousands of pounds for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent. It is one of hundreds of events being staged during the year to help Tesco and CLIC Sargent achieve their goal of raising £5million to fund specialist children’s cancer nurses.
